In the year 1770, the people of the Austrian province of Württemberg were in the middle of a terrible plague. And then, a series of horrifying, unexplainable deaths began to occur in the town of Kisilova. The cause of death was a mysterious, far-reaching plague that seemed to target the wealthy and powerful. And soon, the entire town was in chaos. People began to leave their homes, and the town fell into the hands of the plague. The people of Kisilova were forced to flee and take shelter in the woods as the plague killed everyone in its path.
The plague continued to spread, and the people of Kisilova were in danger of being killed by the vicious epidemic. But, just when it seemed that the death warrant had been signed, the Emperor proved to be the hero of the day. He sent his personal physician, Dr. Franz Kunitz, to investigate the strange deaths.
